Landlord "accidentally" double leased our apartment for the fall?

Hey this is my first time posting, but i wasn't sure where to turn. So i'm a college student and just finished up freshman year. I recently signed a lease for an apartment for next fall and have a binding contract stating that we have the apartment, what the rent will be, terms of the agreement, etc. However, after signing this contract with my roommate on June 7th, i got a call today from our future landlord saying that he had actually already rented our apartment to another tenant on June second and, due to an error on his part, he signed us to the apartment as well. When he informed me of this, he was very apologetic and eager to get us into another unit. However, I'm not happy at all with the situation and feel like we were mislead due to the landlord's idiocy at our own cost. What can we do? should we just accept the fact that he messed up and go with a different unit? i don't think we have any chance of getting our original desired unit since there is already a lease on it that was signed before ours, but we feel like we've been defrauded! help!

What should I do about this situation?

I've been casually dating a guy for a few months, nothing serious. The problem is that he cancels our dates about 75% of the time, usually at the last minute. He is always very apologetic and has a good reason. The last time he did this, we had made plans over a week ahead of time to spend the day together, and I had turned down two other offers for that day. I didn't find out that the date wasn't happening until I texted him at 10 o'clock the night before to confirm. He agrees this is disrespectful to me, says he only wants to make it up to me, apologizes profusely, says he really likes me and wants to see me, etc. We have a great time when we do get together, and I really like him. BUT, I don't want to be treated like this. I am tired of making plans and having them fall through all time. Should I just stop seeing him?

Need some advice, legitimately important!?

I am 22 years old and my father has been having the WORST luck trying to find a workshop for his business...things upon other things have gone wrong and he has gone through 3 places since December..the most recent of which was that his and 6 other workshop units caught fire and are now being condemned. So he was evidently under a lot of stress to find a place to work and there is a guy across the parking lot who has a place for rent for 1000 bucks a month, my dad calls him up, meets him, he's had a really great reference from the guy he rented from before and they make an agreement, shake hands... My dad has the place. The next few days my dad tries to get ahold of him to arrange when he can pay 1st and last etc...and this guy doesn't answer his calls or get back to him. It has been a week and we hadn't heard from him. This guy had put the place back on kijiji (a site like craigslist) for 200 dollars more...So I tell my dad to give him a call from MY cellphone to see what happens...he doesn't pick up but calls back an hour later TWO TIMES! and leaves 2 messages! this guy is clearly desperate but my dad said they had gotten along really well so he doesn't really get it. my dad may be too stubborn to call back now but if he doesn't I am going to and see if I can get him to reconsider because I feel so badly this has happened to him. What should I do, if I do call..what is a convincing thing to say? my dad is a great guy and an honest man and I don't want this sleezeball to get away with this...

How do I deal with her?

Well first off kudos to you for being such a great friend! The fact that you have strong feelings for her is going to make this situation a whole lot harder, but I would also say the fact that you care about her very much since you've known her for 6 years says a lot in itself. Personally if I were you I would stand strong next to her and try and get her through her situation, guide her, show her that this situation with this other dude is not a good one. Do all that you can, but don't push her to the point that she gets annoyed with you either. I can see where your confused, it's a fine line. Do you step in and be a friend? Or do you walk away?....I would just say do all that you can to steer her away, if she does, then let her sort some things out on her own. If she doesn't and stays with this dude, then walk away for awhile. If she writes or calls etc then sure be there for her, but let her know you have a life too and you have done all that you can to support her, but you can't wait around forever ya know? Good Luck!

How do you leave someone who has depression and has began to depend on you and needs you?

I'm stuck in this situation and i just can't figure out a way out of it. I have been close to this guy now for a few months and at the beginning of the relationship it was clear that he had depression but it only occurred at certain times. By this I mean that most of the time he'd be this funny, nice guy but sometimes he'd just lose it and not be able to talk or do anything he'd just sit there sometimes in tears talking about how he doesn't know why he feels this way and how he can't get out of it. Its horrible to watch and lately its been happening more frequently and hes started to become self loathing and apologetic to me all the time for no reason. How did the economy of Detroit have a downturn with the collapse of the automobile industry?

I live in Detroit, and my father worked for one of the big 3 auto company's. In Detroit a lot of people find work in the automotive industry. When everything went down hill there were mass amounts of lay offs, and to my understanding it was a ripple affect. All the people who worked for the automotive industry did not have the money to go out to eat, or buy things they once bought, so the surrounding businesses fell after them. There are a lot of people who have gone back to school to get out of the automotive industry as well as a lot of people who moved out of state. Detroit lost a lot of population in the 2010 census. I do not think that Japans Auto industry was a main factor in the collapse of Detroit's industry. The engineers working for the auto industry had been in there for a while, some like my dad for 26 years, had just been getting paid more and more money, and eventually the company's could not afford to pay all of their employees, thus causing the lay-offs. Like I said I think it really had a lot to do with the fact that so many people lost their jobs working for these company's. I by no means know that these are the actual facts or reasons, but I did live through it all, so hopefully it points you in the right direction.

Excel option buttons: two of them keep changing together?

I have one option group box. Inside of that I have two option buttons. Each option button is linked to the same cell. Each option button exists totally inside the group box, and they do not overlap one another. A cell value of 1 ends up highlighting both option buttons at the same time, and any other value un-highlights both. If I click either button while un-highlighted, they both activate. I cant un-highlight either except by manually changing the value of the linked cell or by going into the either option buttons settings, but then they both un-hightlight at the same time. I cannot separate these two option buttons from acting as a single button. I want them to be linked, but having opposite values: one highlighted and the other not. I want to be able to use these buttons like they were intended - when one is highlighted, the other un-highlights, and vice versa. But that is not how it is working.

I think you need to be stern with her. Tell her exactly how you feel about these situations. And you are right, he isnt going to change. He will never quit abusing her, whether physical or verbal. From the day we attend the first workshop till the day we find a house and close on it...how long would it generally take? How do I sort on sub-totals in excel?

I have a spreadsheet with about 38k rows. There is a column with product names that I want to subtotal on count then sort. I want the entries that have the most counts up at the top of my report. I know how to subtotal and I know how to sort but how do you do both. I tried to get the value of the subtotal to appear in a separate column but can't see how to do that (since if I could then in theory I could then sort on that column). You have no obligation whatsoever to purchase anything, and they only hire a certain amount of people who they think will excel at the job. The high turnover rate is due to people not wanting to put any effort into the job. Also, I understand people being wary about the friends and family thing but they would be ridiculous to spend that much money just because they love their family of friend. It just doesn't happen like that, and if it does, they should pay more attention to what they are doing with their money. I am trying to create a excel workbook that has 3 sheets. The first sheet has a multiple players name and a button next to each name. The second sheet has buttons such as 2 points, or rebound, that when you click on them will add 1 to the third sheet which is there actual stats. The third sheet contains a database that has columns of name, points, rebounds. I want the first macro on the first sheet next to name to take you to the second sheet which you will then choose a category. It uses the variable name to then insert the data on the third sheet in the correct row. What would be the macro to search the third sheet until it finds the row that has the right name and then adds the data?

I hate my cancer doctor!?

I am twelve and I have cancer basically everywhere in my body. It started in my ovaries and then spread to my uterus and so on. It is now in my legs, lungs, kidney, heart, bladder, brain, etc. But that isn't the point. My doctor is kinda mean about the cancer. He cracks jokes that aren't funny at all (example: we checked on how the cancer is doing and my doctor said, "Wow, looks like the cancer is everywhere except for your toes.. *laughs*" This really annoyed me. Wow ! you have true motivation. This is really impressive and it really looks like you want to follow real ambitions and make a differerence in your life. Keep up the positive attitude. So here are a few things to watch out for: Make sure you have a 4.0 GPA every single term and every single year. A- and A+ just get turned into A's on the final report card. So as long as you can maintain a status quo of more than 90% in all subjects that would look great on your application though it is hard. Secondly, make sure you can join enough clubs, around 3 or even two is fine. Make sure you are actively involved in one club at least and try to run for officer and get elected. Thirdly, be involved in a sport or two. If you aren't the athletic type much, try out for a simple sport like badminton or something. It will be easier on you,and it looks good on your college application. Have good impressions with all of your teachers. Ok, the AP courses: Most people just think that they can wing it. AP takes a lot of time to do homework for and study for. As soon as you come home take no more than a half an hour break to get ready for studying. You will have to squeeze all this in and if you can manage your time well, you will do great. I know this seems really overwhelming, but by the time you are done with high school, you will be in a great college. And 1400 is not at all a bad start for a seventh grader.My brother took the SAT in 7th grade and he got a 1750. But its still pretty good. Apply for different competitions and try your best in science and math bowls. All these things along with your personality and your desire to learn will help you get into a good colelge. All the best ! It is a long journey but you will make it. :-) And btw neurologist is a very prestigious profession, I would suggest you go for it. My mom isnt supportive of me dancing, writting,acting or anything else that is not swimming. She is very, EXTREMELY supportive of me swimming even though I haven't been doing that great(been in a slump). Every time I bring up an awrd that i won in school for writting, acting, passed the talent show auditions or entered a new school organization she reacts very dull, or changes the subject to swimming, which i am only staying because i have great friends in the team. I need help with creating an excel template or so.....?

So I have a spreadsheet that has many equations for analysis. All I need to do is to import the data I have from each subject into the sheet, which are only few numbers, and then the spreadsheet generates results as well as GRAPHS. So, whenever I get the results I copy the whole sheet and paste it into a new workbook and name it with my subject's name. The PROBLEM is, when I do so, the graphs end up the same for ALL subjects, because when I point to the points on the graph, they are all the same for each subject, because again when I point to the points on the graph, and then look up where it comes from, it says it came from the ORIGINAL sheet, and not from the current sheet where the data was pasted. So, all of them are identical. When I change the title for the graphs to reflect points from the specific sheet, then yes, things are right. But It would be so difficult going through each one of them, I have many data to be analyzed. Is there a way to make like a template where, when I copy and paste into a new sheet, the points on the graph will reflect data from the current sheet and not the original one. I hope this isn't too confusing.

Clinical Psychology--a dead field? Worth it?

Hi everyone, I'm a 19 year old girl living in Brooklyn, NY and I just finished my first year of college. Growing up, I was always the kind, sensitive, empathetic classmate and friend that was usually the first person people went to when they were having troubles, having a bad day, needed advice, etc. I was always an overachiever, studied my brains out in HS and was a straight A+ student. I sincerely enjoy working with people one on one and for as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a clinical psychologist...it just seemed like the perfect fit for me, something I'd enjoy for the rest of my life and feel satisified with. However, I've been researching lately about the psychology field, and, in addition to what many ppl have told me....it's kind of a dead field to go into. Unless you're aiming for the PsyD or PhD degree, you won't go that far. Yes, I know Social Work is an option too but it doesnt pay well (I'm not doing it for the money but obviously I would like to make a decent salary) It's a very competitive, hard field to get into and the 5 to 8 yrs of doctorate schooling really make menervous as well...I don't know if I can handle it. I just can't picture myself only in my late 20's finally finishing school and supporting myself. I heard about a new degree called LMHC--Licensed Mental Health Counsleor, they do a lot of what psychologists do and it's only 2 yrs master's program but I think the pay is about the same as social work...Again, it's not about the money for me, but in a way it is...Like I said I was always a dedicated, studious, hard worker and I excelled in all my subjects. I've just been told a lot that I'm "selling myself short" and not pushing myself hard enough, not being ambitious enough when I can reach for something higher. So basically my question is 1) Is psychology still a good field to go into? (decent pay, demand for jobs) 2) What do u guys know about the LMHC degree and 3) Should I just push myself and reach for the stars, aka go for a doctorate? I know this is kinda all over the place, but anything will help me at this point, thanks in advance :)

How to change the indenting in word 2011 Mac?

It used to be nice indentation, now it is defaulted to put A LOT of extra space between your letter/number/bullet and the sentence following it. In addition to this problem, the bullets/numbers/letters themselves are also spaced about twice as far to the right as they used to be. The look is pretty ugly and completely unreadable, it defeats the whole purpose of outlining, which is to make it easy to find the denominations at a glance. Anyone know how to change the default back to what it was for Word 2008 on Mac and before? I will be seriously impressed if anyone can answer this question, who knows why they would ruin outlines, maybe so people pay for expensive workshops, books, phone calls, emails and advice, but I doubt that the 'experts' could answer even this very simple question no matter what kind of money I threw at them. Maybe I should just go back to Word 2008, they let you put whatever characters you wanted in your file titles, they defaulted titles to the first text of your document instead of making you copy and paste it, and so on, it was a better program. The ribbon is useless because the styles are useless, they all have the same problems and I don't have enough faith to spend hours exploring the ribbon if they can't get something as simple as an outline indentation default or its modification right. Those emails are wrong of her because she didn't need to ask for her ex's number if she's already in a relationship with someone she loves. But, remember that this was a year ago. And maybe she's changed since then. She claims that's as far as it went. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But, you don't know. And you can't go assuming things in your head if you have no proof. Has she ever lied or deceived you before? If not then just let this go. For her to be really apologetic and remorseful shows how guilty she feels. This will be enough to set her straight and realize she can never mess up like this. Gain your trust back by having her delete all guys off her phone, email, messenger, etc. Ones who she had romantic feelings for such as ex's (not friends). Because she wouldn't need them if she's happily in a long term relationship. And if she doesn't have any then just let it go and tell her she has one more chance and you are forgiving her. Don't annoy her and hold this over her head because if you continue to rant about how much you don't trust her when she actually IS faithful, it will make her actually want to do what your accusing her of. Let this go and try to heal.

If you are not attending a dance class where you are working towards exams, then you are probably not on a grade at all, and will most likely be doing free work which is at a standard set by the teacher. To be on a particular grade, you would have to be studying a series of graded exams, or at least studying a syllabus of formal dance training. You should also bear in mind that what would be Grade 4 standard in the RAD syllabus, might be slightly more or less advanced compared with the Grade 4 from another exam board or training system. So in short, don't worry yourself about what grade you are on, just concentrate on your studies and work hard to become the best dancer you can be.

How should I handle his mistake?

Recently, my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend kissed him. He was distraught and is deeply apologetic. I forgave him and am trying to reassure him that everything is okay, but all of his old friends are trying to make the issue seem worse. My Mother Really Wants Me To Go To Stanford, But Im Not So Sure I Have A Shot?

reading up on what it takes to get accepted into this extremely prestigious school has only lessened my hopes. My mother thinks i'm special, and Stanford material, but I don't see what is so special about me. Im ALMOST top 5% in my class (6%), My Unweighted GPA is about 3.6 or 3.7, though i haven't seen updates from this semester. weighted I believe, is about 4.1, and i've yet to take the SAT's but i plan on getting at least a 2100 on them, if less, ill take it again until time permits (because ill be a senior). My mom believes i have a chance because I am going to be president of my schools Math Honor Society, VP of the orchestra, member of the National Honor Society, and Beta Club, was a member of the Jazz Band, a Varsity Wrestler for 3, maybe 4 years, will be in 3 plays, 2 of which are musicals next year, an avid member of my school's theatre workshop group (where we build sets and do lighting and sound for plays and productions), I Tutor every week for free, I am a member of my schools Advanced Show Choir (which is quite prestigious in my school), and i play piano, violin, viola, guitar (my specialty), and i sing. and along with all this, I have taken 4 AP classes in my high school career, have traveled to Iceland to learn about my heritage, and I want to major in Biochemistry. I'm Passionate about what i do, and i can write a good essay, but i'm not valedictorian, or student council president, and I haven't written any books, or invented a new software, or anything that stands out like in other applications. Do you think i have any sort of chance? I would love to go, and it would make my mom SO proud, but i just don't believe i'm good enough. I need help with creating an excel template or so.....?

So I have a spreadsheet that has many equations for analysis. All I need to do is to import the data I have from each subject into the sheet, which are only few numbers, and then the spreadsheet generates results as well as GRAPHS. So, whenever I get the results I copy the whole sheet and paste it into a new workbook and name it with my subject's name. The PROBLEM is, when I do so, the graphs end up the same for ALL subjects, because when I point to the points on the graph, they are all the same for each subject, because again when I point to the points on the graph, and then look up where it comes from, it says it came from the ORIGINAL sheet, and not from the current sheet where the data was pasted. So, all of them are identical. When I change the title for the graphs to reflect points from the specific sheet, then yes, things are right. But It would be so difficult going through each one of them, I have many data to be analyzed. Is there a way to make like a template where, when I copy and paste into a new sheet, the points on the graph will reflect data from the current sheet and not the original one. I hope this isn't too confusing.

I met a guy at a party this weekend, and he was kind of disrespectfully joking around while sober, and when he got drunk he was all over me, which was fine, but he kept saying over and over, "I'm an asshole, I'm an asshole", etc. He said it in the same I'm-trying-to-be-funny tone of voice that he used while being a rude comedian earlier. I have have recently had a problem of my husband demanding sex and making me feel inadequate if I was not in the mood. He gets quite angry with me when I refuse. It has had the effect of making me want sex even less. I feel anxious and as though I have a problem. I am open to the fact that perhaps the problem is mine. I have had a difficult marriage and have tried very hard to make it work for the sake of my children. I last refused sex when my eldest child left school, it was such a happy day and I thought I had achieved something positive in bringing my eldest child to this point. That night my husband demanded I go to bed early (he always does this) and repeatedly shouted downstairs 'are you coming to bed'. I did go to bed, but in the event he got quite angry and I tried to explain that I was just getting quite anxious about the whole thing, but this made him even worse. I felt worthless and a failure. I ended up sleeping on the sofa. I felt vulnerable and afraid to sleep in my own bed. The next day he was apologetic. I am worried about his true nature and controlling temper. His mother died after 40 years of marriage to his father and I always thought they were happy. 1 week after his mothers death he cleared all her belongings out of the family home, 6 weeks after her death he moved in with another women. sold the family home and used the proceeds to buy a house for his new female partner. I am concerned about my husband, his temper and whether he is shallow (or a good actor) just like his father. It may seem overly dramatic but sometimes I feel he does not care about me at all, he is shallow and cares only about outward appearances. I do not want to feel I am wasting my life on such a person. I am very depressed at the moment so this is perhaps altering my judgement thinking

I am losing love for life and the energy to live because of the burdens of family life.?

I live in a family with a brother and a sister along with my parents. Being the 3rd child, I have always felt that my needs have been neglected and not taken care of as done with my siblings. My husband is secretive and dishonest?

My husband and I got married in August last year. After two months of our marriage, one day he did not come home until 6 in the morning. I grew suspicious about his where abouts and therefore checked his phone. I noticed that there was a number which he called around Midnight and that same number called him around the time he arrived home. He saved it with the name Sara. When I asked him which Sara that was he said his friend was using the phone and could have probably saved the number in his phone. I later on discovered that he was lying and in fact he was with that girl during the night. He apologized for lying and insisted there was nothing going on with the girl and that they just met through a friend and had just gone together to a club that night. He promised to cut contact with the girl but after a few days I found out that he had deleted the number from his phone but had written it on a small piece of paper with a male name. When I comfronted him, again he was apologetic and promised that he will never do that again. After 5 months he went to another country on Business for about 1 and half weeks. When he came back I noticed he was guarding his phone but I still noticed he was getting calls from that country and was deleting the histories, he later on put a secret code on his phone. Later on a girl from that country started stalking me on facebook. She then wrote my husband addressing him as Sweetheart asking him why he had started avoiding her. When I asked my husband about the girl he indicated that he knows the girl and that they had met during his trip. Again he denied anything going on between them. He again lied to me that since he came back he had never been in contact with the girl. I found evidence that they have been talking on the phone hence his guarding the phone and deleting the histories. When I comfronted him with the evidence that's when he told the Truth about them talking on the phone but indicated that the girl was the one interested in him and that he was not interested in the girl. I am confused. I feel like in both instances my husband was cheating with these girls because i wonder why he lies if these were honest encounters. He is again apologetic and says it will never happen again. I do not believe him for he has done this twice within our 7 months of marriage. I love my husband but now can no longer trust him. You have such a fear of rejection that your mind is made up before you even get to the party. You have your mind prepared that you will automatically be rejected by men, that even if they did the smallest thing your mind would blow it up into something more than it is. Your mind has a fear of rejection so you are going to the party defensive and prepared for battle, instead of going to the party with a positive attitude and prepared to have a good time, you are going prepared to be miserable. It is like you are transferring the negative things men have done to you in the past on people you haven't even met yet. You need to give yourself a break and go to the party with an open mind, a positive mind, and prepared to have a good time. If someone snubs you, shake it off and focus on positive things, so that you can be relaxed and others can approach you. It is easier to approach a positive person who is open to meeting new people that to approach someone who is defensive. Keep in mind that if someone rejects your opinion, it doesn’t mean they reject you. They might not have the same beliefs as you on every subject, that doesn’t mean they reject you. I don't like pineapple on pizza, I am not rejecting my sister, I am rejecting pineapple. Chin up, give yourself a break and don't take yourself so seriously. Watch TV or movies and see how the characters interact with each other. Watch how your family, church members, people around town interact with each other. Practice, it is all about practice. Practice with family or friends, like if you went to a dance and asked someone to dance, practice what would happen if they said yes, practice what would happen if they said no. We all fear rejection, we all are afraid of saying something stupid, but if that happens, just laugh it off and move on. Everyone who reads aloud in church goofs a word, even the Pastor, we all know how that feels, but you laugh and keep moving forward. It is like the quote….”Be who you are and say what you feel ‘cause people who mind don’t matter, and people who matter don’t mind.” Dr. Seuss. Go to polls and surveys and answer questions so you get good at answering random questions. Write down questions that are fun and interesting to you. Y/A has an entertainment section with categories like jokes and riddles and polls and surveys. It is always good to have a good joke, so copy them down so you don’t forget the punch line. Polls and surveys has a lot of good questions and they change all the time, so it is a good source for questions to ask when the conversations stall.

I have a range of cells that I add data to on a weekly basis. At the end of the week, I cut this range and paste it in another sheet within the same file. The trick is that I have to paste it in the reverse order. So, cells from B--> H needs to be pasted in the reverse direction H-->B. How can I do this using VBA?

So, a month ago my mom informed me that my biological father wanted to talk to me/ have dinner. I told my mom I didn't want to go, but she told me she'll get me a car if I agree to it and pretend I'm having a great time. So, I went and pretended to care about him and his life. At the end of dinner he asked if we could do this again, and I said no. I also told him the only reason why I'm even here is because I'm getting a car out of it. He freaked out and called me a whore. He made a complete scene in the restaurant. It was so bad that the manager asked him to leave. He also left me at the restaurant by myself, so I had a taxi to bring me home. He is now calling my home phone and leaving apologetic messages. I just want to be left alone. What is his problem?

She takes me for granted so I said, I'll talk to you another time and took a break. She texted me for a couple days after(nothing apologetic, I didn't reply) then she stopped. 2.5 weeks went by with no contact. Then I texted her before the concert(we planned on going be4) and said I needed time alone but i do love/miss you. No response. I called her(the day of the concert), her voicemail was full so I had to text her sorry & I love you more than anything.No response. She's been ignoring me since I texted her about the concert. I stopped contacting her after the concert(the last thing i said was, hope to hear from you soon). She may be trying to act strong/hard to get. My bday was 2 weeks ago(she said nothing to me). We've broke up/made up many times before.Will she reply? Just wait it out?

There are lots of books out there on how to bring up your scores specificaly for the SATs and ACTs. They are published new every year to keep up to date with the tests. Go to a library or bookstore.

I hate my cancer doctor!?

I am twelve and I have cancer basically everywhere in my body. It started in my ovaries and then spread to my uterus and so on. It is now in my legs, lungs, kidney, heart, bladder, brain, etc. But that isn't the point. My doctor is kinda mean about the cancer. He cracks jokes that aren't funny at all (example: we checked on how the cancer is doing and my doctor said, "Wow, looks like the cancer is everywhere except for your toes.. *laughs*" This really annoyed me. And he acts like he doesn't care about what I am going through. I was recently told that I had until July to live. And he just laughs about it! What should I do about this? He is really bugging me and even the nurses think so; they give apologetic looks every time he cracks a joke. I don't know what to do about this and I need help about it so please answer!

My Mother Really Wants Me To Go To Stanford, But Im Not So Sure I Have A Shot?

reading up on what it takes to get accepted into this extremely prestigious school has only lessened my hopes. My mother thinks i'm special, and Stanford material, but I don't see what is so special about me. Im ALMOST top 5% in my class (6%), My Unweighted GPA is about 3.6 or 3.7, though i haven't seen updates from this semester. weighted I believe, is about 4.1, and i've yet to take the SAT's but i plan on getting at least a 2100 on them, if less, ill take it again until time permits (because ill be a senior). My mom believes i have a chance because I am going to be president of my schools Math Honor Society, VP of the orchestra, member of the National Honor Society, and Beta Club, was a member of the Jazz Band, a Varsity Wrestler for 3, maybe 4 years, will be in 3 plays, 2 of which are musicals next year, an avid member of my school's theatre workshop group (where we build sets and do lighting and sound for plays and productions), I Tutor every week for free, I am a member of my schools Advanced Show Choir (which is quite prestigious in my school), and i play piano, violin, viola, guitar (my specialty), and i sing. and along with all this, I have taken 4 AP classes in my high school career, have traveled to Iceland to learn about my heritage, and I want to major in Biochemistry. I'm Passionate about what i do, and i can write a good essay, but i'm not valedictorian, or student council president, and I haven't written any books, or invented a new software, or anything that stands out like in other applications. Do you think i have any sort of chance? I would love to go, and it would make my mom SO proud, but i just don't believe i'm good enough. My college that i chose outside of her influence was Clemson, because of all of the in-state scholarships, and friends that would go there, but her, and everyone else i know thinks that i am too good for Clemson, solely based on the information i have provided you here, and considering i want to go to a college that would be good for Biochemistry or medical, and have music (minor), which college do you think i would be good for?
