setting the record straight. unless there was somthing wrong with u that he may not have enjoyed i see no reason why he would not still have feelings for u. more or less he may be afraid of asking about other guys that are intrested in u because u may he HE was the one that wanted to study abroad and that if he cared about u he would stay. most often this what guys fear so yeah unless he told u any reason why he doesn't like u then i see no reason why he still wouldn't have feelings for u
