I want a Dance career but i think my boyfriend will stop that from happening? Will he?

I love to Dance and I've seen videos on YouTube and how some dancers are in workshops and they look like they get paid well. Dance have been my dream since little girl and I would love to pursue it as my career but now that I'm in a relationship idk whether to go for it or not? We have such a strong n serious relationship..and he wants to go to a different college and I think itl kill our relationship. I like math to and if anything should I go for that and plan to go somewhere close to his college so that we won't break or what can I do. We don't want to do something thatl keep us apart nd cause us to end :(
