My husband pulled my hair while angry, is this abuse?
Last night I was trying to sleep and he was very angry over something trivial. While laying on my side, he came into the bedroom and grabbed a handful of my hair, yanking my head towards him saying Look at me when I'm talking to you. I started to cry because it startled me and hurt. He immediately let go, saying What are you talking about, I never even touched you. That completely blew my mind so I insisted he go to a hotel. I did not feel safe. Today he admitted pulling my hair harder than he intended and that he saw the look of fear in my eye so he let go immediately. We have only been married 6 months and this is the third incident where he was angry and did something he says he didn't mean to do. (The first time he hit mmy back from behind harder than expected and his reason was that he tripped over something. The second time he had me trapped in the bathroom saying Do you know what it feels like to get the sh*t beat out of you? Go ahead, give me a reason to hit you. And finally that same incident he grabbed pills out of my medicine cabinet and acted like he was going to shove them down my throat while saying Go ahead, do us all a favor and overdose. I am pregnant with twins while these three incidents have happened. I'm concerned things will only progress more violently from this point forward. I'm also very concerned that afterwards he's very apologetic and says I am skewing the story to make it sound worse than it was. He constantly says I love you so much and would never hurt you. I've never been in an abusive relationship and am unsure what to think of these things!
