Why do people think all Black People are One dimensional?

All Black people are different. All black people don't like rap music, do like basketball. There are black people who read books and excel in school. There are black people who are responsible and hardworking citizens. It's amazing these stereotypes still exist in the age of The Cosby show and Oprah. All Black people don't live in the ghetto. Society- stop these horrible stereotypes. I'm tired of the assault on all Blacks, especially Black Adults who aren't treated respectfully. I'm not talking about the disrespectful black adult. I am talking about Black Adults who are beautiful people but they treated badly simply because they are Black. Oh and by the All Blacks are not lazy. There are some of us who want to work or work. Study true black history people, not that BET garbage or any other stereotypical depiction of Blacks. there are some programs on BET i like but I don't like the overall programming that's on the station.
